This morning we started our second week of classes. I have a new teacher, Eduardo, who seems more interested in pracitce and mastery than my last teacher, which will probably be good for me. We did not really cover anything new today, but more reviewed the 40,000 verbs I went over last week, and various other gramatical rules and constructs. CJ is working on learning some basic grammar stuff, and also her oppostites (tall and short, pretty and ugly, etc.) Today, we also took our laundry into the laundromat, went to the bank, went for coffee, etc, and ran some other errands. We also went on a wild goose chase around the city trying to find notecards, and were eventually successful. We stopped at the little store off the main plaza where we have typically gone to buy things like soap etc, to look for notecards. Below is a picture of the sign that was posted in the front entrance, which hasn´t been there in the past. Kind of bizarre and unnerving. I have to say that this is probably the least ¨walmart-esque¨ store I´ve ever been to! Hopefully I can get the right picture to attach, because it´s the last one I took. Also attached are a random picture that CJ took at the hot baths, and a picture of CJ in our favorite coffee place in Xela.
